Let’s talk about time. And in the essence of time, I’ll keep this one short and sweet.
Think about how valuable the object of time is in your life. It’s obvious, we do life around the time we have before us or the time we wish we had back. The time we never seem to have enough of, and the amount of time it will take us to accomplish something. Why isn’t it as easy to live in the “here and now” as it is to say we do?
One month ago I participated in a CPY Triathlon at CorePower Yoga Highland Park in celebration of their 7th birthday. 5 Steps to Maintaining a Healthy Lifestyle With Your Career
We all go to work. It’s how we make a living, it’s satisfying, it’s tiring, and, unfortunately, it’s the reason why our health and fitness can get put on the back burner at times. Whether you’ve been holding a 9-5 job for years, are fresh out of college and getting acclimated to full-time work life, or still a student, I’m writing this post for YOU.
We’ve all heard time and time again how it supposedly takes 21 days to break or build a habit. That’s 21 days of changing something that your mind and body have been conditioned to doing for an extended period of time. That’s 21 days of not doing something you most likely enjoy, but would be better off without. That could also be 21 days of introducing a new healthy habit into your life that you’re not accustomed to doing. Either way, habits are hard to break and we all fall victim to a few unhealthy ones here and there. It takes some perseverance and strong desire to kick these little annoyances to the curb.
