Welcome welcome welcome! You are officially reading Healthy Intentions, a health and fitness lifestyle blog. I’m Meghan, a 20-something who loves to workout, take care of her body, and eat all the good-for-you foods.
For those of you who know me even in the slightest, you’ll know it was only a matter of time before I got a blog like this up and running. The motivation behind the blog: I frequently get asked how I stay in shape, what my daily routine is and what I do to work out. In turn, I frequently ask myself if I even have a good way to answer these questions. Is there really one thing I do that I can give all the credit to? Nope. So instead, I’ve decided to start this blog to shed light on something I’m super passionate about…
living an intentionally healthy lifestyle.
Behind every healthy, fit, strong, active life there is purpose, there is reason, there is habit and there is JOY. It’s about the conscious efforts to make wholesome choices. It’s about making exercise and mental and physical recovery a part of your daily routine. And it’s about listening to your body and what it needs. I wholeheartedly believe these things and I try my best to live by them each day, all with the intent of becoming the healthiest version of myself I can be. It’s an everyday work in progress and a rollercoaster of good days, bad days, social events, work, travel and whatever life may throw at me. In the end, though it’s all about maintaining some sort of balance and living with healthy intentions.
Follow along on Healthy Intentions for posts on my workouts, my meals, the triumphs, the struggles, trial and error, personal experience… just REAL LIFE things.
If I can inspire and encourage at least one person to challenge their physical limits, be a resource for anyone wanting to make a change in their lives, and create a community out of being holistically healthy humans, I will be one happy gal. Can’t wait to get started. Thanks for reading : )
Signed with healthy intent,
